ブルーの化粧鉢をフォーカルポイントにと、いくつか置いています。

お花の季節だけでなく、

白と灰色だけの世界が果てしなく続くような気がする長い冬に、

このブルーが明るい気持ちを呼び起こしてくれます。

 I have a few glazed blue pots placed in the garden.  

 They create focal points during the gardening season 

but also add splash of color and cheer me up 
when the garden stays gray and white seemingly forever. 

土を入れたままにしていると、凍ってヒビが入るので

ふたつ、さかさまに置いてサイドテーブルのように使っています。

もう、4年冬越ししてくれました。

To avoid the soil from freezing and cracking the pots in the winter,

 I use some of them up-side-down, more like side tables and

 they have over-winter for four years now.

たまに遊びに来てくれる青い鳥と同じ色。

青い鳥の訪問ありますか？

みんなに幸福を運んで来てくれますように。
