小さい頃、ノカンゾウが

土手にたくさん咲いていたのを覚えています。

かわいい雑草と思っていました。

こちらでは驚くほど人気があり

これだけを情熱的に育てる人もいるくらい。

I remember seeing daililies on the roadsides as a child in Japan. 

I always thought they were pretty weeds.

I was surprised to see how enthusiastic some people were about them here in U.S.

大人になってお洒落なお姉さん達になりましたね。
