ギボウシが大好きです。わたしには日本のイメージがあります。
でも、乾燥した空気と強い紫外線の為、うちで育てるのはなかなか難しく
やっとできた木陰に移植したところでした。
I love hosta. It reminds me of my homeland.
Unfortunately it's been hard for me to grow it well without much shade.
I transplanted one to a spot an alder tree was casting a nice shadow.
それが 影も形も無いじゃありませんか

でも・・・うさちゃんも可愛いし、どうしましょう・・・・
私もギボウシ大好きです。
半日陰の所が多くてどうしても葉物が多くなってしまいますが
もう少しお花も植えたいんですよ。
ここにいてコロラドの空気を感じられて本当に幸せです。

ReplyDeleteはい、根以外はぜ～んぶ食べられました。 また葉が生えてくるかしら？
うさぎを食べる動物や鳥の数が減って、うさぎばかりが増えています。 とても大きなふくろうが夜狩りをするんですがうさぎの数には追いつけないようです。 ふくろうには猫ちゃんや子犬を獲られる人もいるんですよ。
ポエムさんの悩みはわたしと正反対の悩みですね。 日向と日陰を足して2で割って分け合いたいですね。 笑
お友達のＹｏｋｏさんが遊びに来てくださいました。 お友達の輪が広がるのがとても嬉しいです。
The bunnies like my "hosta salads," too! Those bulbs look wonderful. Have fun planting! (I'm trying to plant my own bulbs. . . but it's raining too hard. Oh, well. At least the ground will be nice to dig.)

ReplyDeleteThe bunnies are enjoying the dropped apples as well. I can't help but to imagine them shaking the trees when we are not looking.
