Clematis hirsutissima

一昨日の雪はあっという間に溶け、今のところダメージ無し

The day before yesterday's snow is already gone, and I can't see any damage - knock on wood.

うちの初クレマチスは米国西部ネイティヴの hirsutissima

別名　hairy clematis  : 毛深いクレマチス（・・・）　ツル性ではなく　ブッシュタイプです　

品種は　scottii か 'Garden club of Denver'　どちらか判らなくなってしまった・・・
とても愛らしくて、手間いらず

 今年は　ぜひ種を採取したいと思います

The first clematis to bloom in my garden is a Western US native Clematis hirsutissima, 

a.k.a. hairy clematis (...) and it's a bush type.

I'm not sure if it's the vir. scottii or 'Garden club of Denver'.
Very cute and carefree.

I'd really like to collect seeds this year.

knock on wood : （木を叩く）　運が続きますように

これは、幸運だったこと　または幸運をを望む事を口にした後、
「いつまでも運が続きますように（訪れますように）」 のおまじないみたいなもので

近くにある木（木でできたもの等）をトントンと叩きながら言います。 
（何もいわず、叩くだけのこともある、映画などでもそんなシーンが多い）

「くわばら、くわばら」 と同じかしら？
