お久しぶりです

今シーズン二度目の雪が降りました

　今朝はマイナス9.4度Ｃ

 We had snow.

It was 15 ºF this morning.

まだ落葉してない木もあったので心配でしたがうちは被害無しでした
少し北のほうではうちの倍以上降ったのであちこちで木の枝が折れ
その為停電もあり大変だったみたいです

強い日差しのお陰で２～３日すれば雪はほとんど溶けてしまい

植物は野ざらしになってしまいます
コロラドで育つ植物達は本当にたくましい

 I was worried since we still had leaves on many trees,

but luckily there was no damage for me this time.

The northern area had twice as much snow and many tree limbs came down causing power outage.

Because of our strong sun-ray, most snow will melt in two to three days

exposing the plants to the harsh Colorado winter. 
Only the toughest plants survive here.


雪の降る前日まで

トラックで配達していただいたコンポストを

大急ぎでお庭中に振りまき

それから304球の球根を植えました

しばらく手首が痛みそう

来春が楽しみです、きれいに咲いてくれますように

I was able to spread the delivered compost all over the garden

and plant 304 bulbs before the snow.

I'm afraid that my wrists are going to be stiff for a while.

I can hardly wait for next spring.

少しずつでも綴ってゆきたいと思っています
