今年もクリスマス・ニッティングのスタートが遅れてしまい、何枚できるか心配だったのですが
この、忙しくて何がなんだか分からなくなってしまいがちな時期に
クリスマス・スピリットを自分自身にリマインドするためにもできるだけ編んでみることにしました

目標はこども病院に15枚寄贈

どんぐり型で小さな耳カバーが付いた新生児用の可愛いデザイン、とっても簡単に編めます




As for Christmas knitting.

I had a very late start, and didn't know how many hats I could finish.

But I wanted to try anyway -just to keep me in line during this hectic and often confusing time.

My goal is to knit 15 hats to donate to a local children's hospital.

Cone shape with small ear flaps -cutest newborn hats ever, and quick and easy to boot.

子猫ちゃんはじめまして

Nice to meet you, Booter. 

一昨年の5月、息子の猫フロストが行方不明になりました

ずうっと帰って来るのを待っていたみたいですが

シェルターで生後４ヶ月の子猫に出会ってやっと心に区切りがついたみたいです

About 17 months ago, our son's cat Frost went missing.

He waited and waited for Frost to come home.

But, when he met this four months old kitten at a shelter, 

he was finally able to let Frost go.

別れあり、出会いあり、

時には不意に

心のこりのないように身近な者たちに毎日できるだけのことをしてあげようと思う

We say goodbye and we say hello, sometimes unexpectedly.

I'll try my best to be nice to people around me, everyday, all the time.

No more regrets!

We miss you, Frost!

子猫ちゃんの名前は Booter、ブーターだそうです、（笑

たった一泊でしたが久しぶりに会った息子
ちょっぴり成長したかな？

子猫はやんちゃですね
いろんなところひっかかれて今ヒリヒリしてます
