South Park

A view from our cabin

家から二時間程ドライブした所に

サウスパークがあります

数年前、5.6エーカーの土地を購入して

小さなキャビンを建てました

ロッキーマウンテン の広大な景色を満喫できる

わたし達のリチャージ所です
上手に撮れなくて本当に残念！

South Park is a two-hour drive from our home where

we've built a small cabin on 5.6 acres a few years ago.

It has been our place to recharge ourselves with the majestic Rocky Mountain views.
I really wish I could take better photographs.

ここに来ると、岩をたくさん持って帰りたくなり

わたしは うずうず

夫は はらはら

I can always use more rocks in my garden, but

my husband doesn't always agree with me

-especially if it involves the big ones.

そして 牛たちも、この厳しい、でも美しい大地で仲良く共存しています

 またリチャージしに来るね~

They coexist peacefully on this harsh but beautiful land.

We shall be back.

息子は山を越えて帰ってきます

うちからドライブ二時間程にある Southpark のキャビンで編み物しました。

主人は早起きして近くの湖で、わん君と魚釣り。

4～5匹釣れたそうですが、皆ちっちゃかったので逃がしてあげたそうです。

編み物に飽きたら軽いハイク

野の花を見たかったのにまだ早すぎて　

このIndian Paintbrushだけ、長い眠りから目覚めようとしていました。

帰宅後息子からおめでとうの電話。

ちゃんと電話してくれて良かった～。

Father's Day

I was able to knit a good portion of my cardigan at Southpark cabin.

Mister got up early and went fishing with the dog.

He tells me that he caught a few but let those babies go.

I went to a little hike when the knitting became tiresome.

I was so hoping for the nice wildflower display but it was still too early.

Indian Paintbrush castilleja spp. was just waking up, peaking up their clear orange faces here and there.

The son called home from work in the evening.

He remembered ~.
